We have seen some positive sales activity in Contra Costa County. The number of new listings were down slightly by 8.8% for detached homes and down 4.8% for attached properties. The number of Pending sales increased by 7.6% for single family homes and increased 10% for townhouse-condo properties.
The Median Sales Price also increased by 6% to $785,000 for detached homes and increased 3.4% to $372,500 for attached properties. The months supply of inventory increased 12.9% for single family homes and increased 25% for townhouse-condo units.
We still seem to be in a “Sellers Market” based upon current market activity. We are often seeing multiple offers on really nice properties and market time has definitely shortened by comparison to last year.
